Who we are

We are Urbnx Services (Urbnx Pressure Washing Services West London), run by John Walsh and based in Acton, London. We clean patios, driveways and walls across West London.

If you have any questions about your information, contact us:

What information we collect

When you ask for a quote or book a job, we may collect:

  • your name
  • your phone number and email address
  • your address and postcode
  • details about the job, such as what needs cleaning, its size, and whether you have an outside tap
  • photos of the area you send us

We collect this when you fill in one of our forms (including on Facebook or Instagram), call us, message us on WhatsApp, or speak to us in person.

How we use it

We only use your information to:

  • give you a quote
  • arrange, carry out and follow up on your job
  • send you invoices and keep records
  • send you reminders when your next clean is due, but only if you have said yes to this

We will never sell your information, and we will never send you spam.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when we need to, with:

  • the apps we use to talk to you and run our business, such as Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) and our accounting software
  • our accountant, for tax records
  • our insurer, if there is ever a claim
  • the police or other authorities, if the law requires it

How long we keep it

  • If you get a quote but don't book, we delete your details after 12 months.
  • If you book a job, we keep your details for 6 years, because the law says we must keep business and tax records.
  • If you asked for reminders, we keep your details until you tell us to stop.

Keeping it safe

We keep your information on password-protected phones and computers, and only we can see it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • show you the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that is wrong
  • delete your information
  • stop sending you reminders at any time

Just call, email or message us and we'll sort it out.

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at https://ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, we ask whether you're happy for us to use analytics cookies. Nothing is set until you choose.

  • If you accept, we use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and how they find us, and Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages (for example, clicks and scrolling) so we can improve the site. Google and Microsoft process this data on our behalf.
  • If you reject, no analytics cookies are used.
  • Your browser also remembers your cookie choice and which version of our homepage you saw, so the site stays the same each time you visit. These are needed for the site to work as you'd expect.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
